快乐的黄色气球 The Happy Yellow Balloon
A cheerful and timely picture book drawn by local illustrator Patrick Yee reminds us (yes, adults too!) to find happiness and contentment in our physical surroundings, but only if we would look away from our screens and devices!
This book tells the story of a little boy 乐乐, while on an errand couldn't help but observe unhappy people all around him looking down at their phones. So instead of completing his chore, he decides to buy yellow balloons, drawing smiley faces on them, and with a bit of help from the "Happy Shop" store owner, they distribute the "happy yellow balloons" to cheer up everyone!
Hanyu Pinyin included.
