I had this set of books as a kid! Loved them and I’m so glad to be able to get them for my little one as well! May she get to know God through these books! ◡̈

I love this series and use it most mornings with my preschooler as part of helping her grow her habit of doing "Quiet Time". The book contains a helpful introduction at the beginning that provides context in an impactful way (for the child who may not be familiar with bible stories). There is also a series of suggested questions at the back of each book that is designed to provoke thought and reflection. I sometimes use these questions to start off conversations with my 3 year old on what she has heard. The adaptations also retain the essence of the biblical text, whilst remaining digestable for young readers. For the more advanced reader, the actual bible verses on which the story is based, can also be found (in both english and chinese!) within the book. No more need to flip open your personal bibles to answer your kid's questions! Useful also for preparing memory verses for your child when you don't own a mandarin bible. Finally, the pictures are engaging and realistic, which help to keep my 3 year old focused as I tell the story to her.
