爷爷一定有办法 Something from Nothing
Something From Nothing is about a creative innovative grandfather that is seemingly able to create and recreate "new items" from "nothing" for his beloved grandson. This occurs repeatedly throughout the story every time the boy grows a little and his mother comments that the clothing item is getting old and worn and should be thrown away. Children will also be delighted to discover another very interesting and inter-related story occurs alongside at the bottom of each page in a family of mice. A simple but heartwarming story that children love to listen over and over again.

We loved reading this book for the moral behind it, namely, allowing nothing to go to waste. But more than that we loved the resilience of the characters and especially how the young boy treasured what he had. The little mice family on the bottom of every page added such a special touch.
We loved it so much, our daughter took this book to school for Chinese emphasis week!
