The illustrations in this book are stunning. The bright yellow moon against the shiny black pages gives a refreshing contrast which is rare in a picture book.

This story is about Little star whose mum bakes a cake and puts it in the sky. Every night she tiptoes to take bites of the mooncake every night with trailing glittery crumbs.

Lovely story to learn about moon phases, I love the 2 page spread depicting how the moon looks like over the month! Sparks conversations and suitable for the little ones too.

Lovely story and pictures!

This book is really fun to read with my toddler. The story is creatively written and the pictures were captivating! Especially loved the page that showed the stages of the moon through the month.
