Learning Mandarin with our Toddlers at the Playground ⚽️
Today I'm teaming up with my dear friend Melody @meldylove
to share with you some nouns and verbs
that we've been learning with our toddlers
when we bring them to playgrounds!
玩跷跷板 wán qiāo qiāo bǎn play seesaw
溜滑梯 liū huá tī slide
荡秋千 dàng qiū qiān swing
扔球 rēng qiú / 丢球 diū qiú throw the ball
接球 jiē qiú / 拾球 shí qiú catch the ball
捡球 jiǎn qiú pick up the ball
踢球 tī qiú kick the ball
One of the simplest and most effective ways
to learn new vocabulary
is to tag it to an experience
and repeat it over time!
语文是靠一点一滴累积起来的,并没有捷径。
Language is accumulated bit by bit, there are no shortcuts.
Raising bilingual kids is really tough…
It always helps to have someone do it together,
to cheer you on,
inspire each other and
keep you accountable.
Come let’s journey together!
