Recently, we've been reading our new book 📕 穿越传统戏曲世界 Exploring the World of Opera!

Last weekend, to delve a little deeper,

we had a field trip

to check out a beautiful Chinese opera mural

painted by @yipyewchong,

an extremely talented local artist!

A scene that was common in the past,

and a popular form of entertainment,

but not seen anymore in our streets.

There are so many details to pore over.

So massive, yet intricate.

Still, but full of movement and life.

A snapshot of history and our #intangibleculturalheritage

to enjoy in the present,

and reminisce in the future.

Location:

📍 5 Temple Street, Singapore 058556

5 minute walk from Chinatown MRT

Thanks Jermaine @tiffany_basket for
