My 4 year old's favourite book in the series is 我的家 My Family! It introduces a boy and his family, various parts of his HDB flat home and the things within. We had lots of fun trying to match the things in the book with real life items eg 衣橱、书桌、窗帘、洗衣机、马桶、筷子.

I like the book 我的身体 My Body as it introduces action words that we encounter in our daily lives, like 走、跑、跳 、蹲、滚、拍球、画画 that we can immediately use in our daily conversations.

There was a period when my then 3 year old daughter was interested in different modes of transportation, we read the book 交通工具 On the Road several times while riding the train and bus. Nothing like experiencing the real thing while reading about it!
