Every year during June, students in Singapore look forward to their month-long school holidays. During this month, children would usually have time off school, some would go on overseas trips and spend time with their grandparents.
With Covid-19 pandemic sweeping across the globe and cases rising locally, our lives were all changed. Students had to stay home and had Home-Based Learning (HBL) in April 2020 and the Ministry of Education decided to bring forward the school break to May 2020 instead! 傅翀老师 was inspired to record these unusual happenings in this book.
The themes of change, resilience, cooperation, unity, care, responsibility and more show how Singaporeans band together to fight the virus, emerging stronger than before.
