This is an adorably illustrated series featuring 3 little animals! The bright colours are pleasing to the eye. I can imagine babies and toddlers enjoying the pictures!
What I love about this set is the illustrations! Toni Yuly has a gift of making the little animals come alive using simple outlines - making these books EXCELLENT drawing prompts for an extension activity!
I also find it helpful that many high-frequency words and characters learnt early in our reading curriculum 四五快读 can be found in the text, with big and clear print. This boosts my 2 little readers' confidence in Mandarin!
The content matter is also relatable to kids! These factors make this set a really valuable addition to our home library.

I love this set of books! There’s one for morning noon and night and all of them are superbly illustrated. The bird one was pretty funny for adults too since there’s a moment of drama of what might happen to the early worm… but it’s very wholesome overall. The kitty one is appropriate to set the stage for nap time. The owl one is great for sound effects.
This series contains short sentences and easy to understand storyline. Love reading such books to a baby especially when there are illustrations on each page.
The stories are simple and fun, and the pictures are cute. My 11 month old smiles when I whip out these books, and he enjoys the stories as much as I do.
