Really fun counting book for toddlers and up!
Reinforces hand-eye coordination and one-to-one correspondence, as we follow the story where more characters join in.

4/365 #每日共读 #1 《首先有一个苹果》 This is a very fun read for little ones, perfect for practising one-to-one correspondence! Love it that the counting is so naturally weaved into the storyline, it is not a bore but enjoyable. We previously had a group storytelling session on this book and we shared apple slices with our friends after reading. This round we brought our own mini candy apples to snack on outdoors while reading this title! Definitely engages more senses and helps us enjoy the book more! My younger boy was happy to read as he is on an apple craze recently upon discovering the existence of mini apples in Paw Patrol packaging 😅 My elder son found parts of the book hilarious, like when one of the hunters' bullet went pewwwww and didn't hit any target. We had a chat and Papa shared that apple seeds can be made into a deadly poison - cyanide! ☣️ Kids are now careful to avoid the apple seeds, to be on the safe side! We learnt some transition words like 首先，接着，其次，and 然后 ! Other extension activities we can think of: - reading bees and honey-related books - use honey to make different drinks and food items - real life sketch of an apple - cook and eat applesauce together Title available on our webstore ➡️mystorytreasury.com⬅️
