Collection: Bridging Books 桥梁书
This is a very special category of books designed to help kids bridge the gap and transition
- from parent-child reading to independent reading, and
- from picture books to text-based chapter books.
Some features of bridging books, as compared to picture books:
- The text mainly tells the story, illustrations support the storyline.
There are considerably more text and less or smaller illustrations
- Text are usually written to suit the reading level of kids from ages 4-10,
sentences usually are not too long.
