神奇书店系列 Magical Bookstore Graded Readers (Set of 3)

These must be the cutest graded readers around! A super adorable bookset with a simple storyline that my kids enjoy, that I don't mind reading over and over again!

Highly recommend this especially for kids who may not like to read Chinese books, as the humour and cuteness within can help them create positive associations with the Chinese language!

The Magical Bookstore Graded Readers is a series designed to provide children aged 5-8 with greater confidence as they develop their reading skills in Chinese.

Our 4 year old 妹妹 can't get enough of the cute otter 水水 and penguin 小冰,
and 9 year old 二哥 finds the stories funny!
Even their 11 year old 大哥 appreciated the humour within.

• Continuity and easter eggs across different books in the series - this reminds me a lot of another well-loved series 幸福小鸡系列 Happy Little Chicks (Set of 6)!
  I really really love this aspect of the series as it draws kids in to read the books repeatedly to discover these connections!
• Hanyu pinyin included to encourage kids (especially lower primary age) to read on their own
• Extra activity at the back of the book! Our favorite is the word search activity at the back of 水水 book
